IN-GAME ECONOMY(P2E)
Why Play to Earn?
A game needs players. By simply playing the game, community members are adding value to the network and should be rewarded. It’s simple, but revolutionary.
The play to earn issuance represents 20% of the total JOT supply. The goal of the play to earn tokens is to attract a wide range of players to the Jot Art ecosystem in the hunt for token rewards and to give ownership and stake to the most active community members.
We envision using the play to earn portion of the issuance to reward key behaviors within our ecosystem such as:
● Competing in the arena and winning matches.
● Winning tournaments.
● Interacting with and tending to your land plots.
● Using the Jot Art NFT marketplace.
● Breeding.
● Using future Jot Art products that haven't been announced yet.
Play to Earn allocation allocations could potentially be decided by governance over time.
The JOT tokens earned through the Play to Earn allocation will initially be open for trading immediately.
Allocation of JOT token:
STAKING - 25%
Staking is a way for us to reward our community members for having a long term mindset and locking up their JOT tokens. By staking your JOT you’ll be able to earn JOT rewards when you lock up your tokens through the staking dashboard. In the future, staking JOT will give you voting rights and a say over the use of the Community Treasury Vault.
ECOSYSTEM FUND - 10%
Managed by KaJ Labs foundation, the ecosystem fund’s core purpose is to grow the Jot Art contributor community.
As time passes the ecosystem fund will be integrated into a DAO and stakers will be able to vote on who should receive funding.
KAJ LABS FOUNDATION - 25%
KaJ Labs is the core team behind the Lithosphere blockchain and Jot Art. KaJ Labs remains incentivized to keep building after a successful token sale by locking up the majority of the allocated supply the team, community and investors have aligned incentives.
ADVISORS - 5%
PUBLIC SALE - 10%
PRIVATE SALE - 5%
Revenue streams
The Jot Art ecosystem will generate revenue from In-game asset sales, Land Sales, Breeding fees, and Marketplace fees.
Jot Art will be run using a Game-as-a-Service model where new features will be introduced over time. Jot Art can potentially earn revenue from selling in-game assets, Land, cosmetics, and in-game consumables. Additionally, there will be fees when players want to level up their game characters, play in tournaments, and craft new assets.
The Community Treasury vault will begin to accumulate fees once the staking dashboard is enabled. All the fees and revenue generated by Jot Art will be placed in the Community Treasury vault which is governed by JOT holders.
For now, these are the primary fees in the Jot Art Metaverse:
● A breeding fee, paid in JOT, for breeding new characters.
● A 2% Marketplace fee taken from successful sales of NFT assets: Characters, land, and land items.
